Author: Dr David Sorenson

David S. Sorenson is Professor of International Security Studies at the Air War College. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver. He is author of many books on Middle East, as The Politics and Process of Defense Acquisition, (Praeger Publishers, 2009), and An Introduction to the Modern Middle East (Westview Press, January 2008). Also, Professor Sorenson has served as Chair of the International Security Studies Section of the International Studies Association, and Chair of the International Security and Arms Control Section of the American Political Science Association.
